Policy Central - Reinforce your Acceptable User Policy

Policy Central helps administrators and network managers enforce their Acceptable Use Policy (AUP) on all computers within their organization.

It provides dynamic real–time control and monitoring of computer resources, increasing productivity by filtering, blocking, managing and reporting non-compliant activities.

Policy Central puts the responsibility back into the hands of the computer user, and reports violations of your AUP directly to the administrator.

The new Enterprise edition now offers...

...3 amazing benefits unique to this software:

  • Encourage Positive Behaviour – by promoting your Acceptable Use Policy
  • Reduce Computer Abuse – by monitoring for violations only when they occur
  • Eliminate Non-Productive PC Activity – with completely customizable user-settings

And since it’s Server-based, Policy Central Enterprise 1.x can be administered from any computer on your network, by multiple users!

With its innovative features, including a summary screen that provides an overview of network abuse in just seconds, the new Enterprise edition reduces the time it takes to monitor your network to almost zero!

How does it work?

Policy Central displays your organisation’s acceptable use policy when a user starts a specified application. The terms must be accepted before the application can be used.

The users’ acceptance or decline of this policy is stored in a database with user, time, date and application stamp.

Policy Central’s Advanced Recognition Engine (ARE) then monitors for policy violations and reports improper and even illegal user activity such as accessing pornographic websites, sending and receiving sexually explicit and harassing email and attachments.

Screen captures of violations are stored in a secure database by user with date, time, application, and violation stamp.

Re-enforce your acceptable use policy!
Why is Policy Central Pro different?

Why is it different?

Because it puts the responsibility back into the hands of the computer user by re-enforcing your company’s acceptable use policy and monitoring for compliance. It reports violations directly to the administrator.

  • Helps eliminate internal security breaches
  • Reduces network bandwidth
  • Reduces potential legal liabilities
